I would be nice to send a copy of alle e-mails received in one box to another box or leave the forwarded messages also in the origin box.

Could you please tell me howto do this via the GUI? With other words, what is the right way for my customers to do this?

I was aware of this feature. But it would be nice when a message gets forwarded, there is the possibility to keep the e-mail in the originally box to. So the forwarder gets a copy of the original e-mail.

Yes but that is not a working solution for me.

Let me give you an example situation:

I have an existing e-mailadres [email protected] (this e-mailadres is used by my customers for common questions), and in vacation periods i want a copy of all e-mails received in the info box to my personal box. I can't expect from my customers to send an e-mail to a different box when it is vacation.

What is the problem? That is the same example that I gave you. Forward info to the 2 other addresses one on each machine.

One thing I just noticed is that your original post said "box" which in the server world refers to different servers. Perhaps you meant "account" instead as in "email account"

DirectAdmin uses two different kinds of email accounts. User email accounts, created automaticallly when the user is created, and virtual email accounts, which you create from your user login.

In the case of user email accounts when you create a forwarder, mail is no longer kept in the main mailbox.

In the case of virtual email accounts the mailbox and the forward are totally independent. If you have both a virtual email account and a forwarder, incoming email will both be forwarded and end up in the virtual mailbox.
