Hi,
I just did a fresh install today, and noticed that after it was done, the file /usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/backup.conf did not exist. When going into "Backup/Restore Settings" (as admin), the checkbox for "Send a message when a backup has finished" is not ticked. When entering this settings page, it looks like the backup.conf file is created, but without the message= line (and a few others). When saving the settings, the full file is written.
This is not really a problem in itself, as I can just make the modifications I need during install, but I am pretty sure the default has been a ticked checkbox for a very long time. So either the default has changed, which would explain everything. Or - there was some kind of error during install, that caused this file to not be created, which is a little more concerning. (I did not see any relevant errors in the output from the install however.)
I hope someone can shed some light on this for me!
