Trying to install FrontPage on a site at the user level.

It ask for the system password, so I give it the root/system/admin password, the same one I use to get into the DA admin screen.

I have typed it over and over, on multiple computers and all I get is this:

######################
Error executing your request

Details

That is not your system password
#######################

BUT IT IS my password, this is driving me nuts, any idea what is wrong here?

Thanks a ton! This worked..

Now then, I am quite puzzled by the fact that the DA screen has this:

##################################
System Password: | | (required for install)

##################################

If the users password is all that's required then why does it ask for the System Password?

Also, I can't remember, is there a way to disable completely the ability for a user to use FrontPage extensions? For the most part I do not want to support this nightmare on DA, I already support it on Windows and it's bad enough in it's native environment.

No there is no way to limit it. What you can do is edit the skin and remove the entry from the skin your users use, leave it in for yourself (you'll need to ask the user for his/her password to enable it though).
