Frontpage Username, password problem

I am able to log into the Directadmin via browser with my username and password.
However, when I use the "same" username and password with Frontpage, I cannot get into to the directory. Frontpage keeps asking me the username and password..
The frontapage is abled, I did unable and able it to fix. No use.

Hi,

When entering the domain in FrontPage, are you putting a www. in front of it? This often solves most login problems.

Hello Admin:
Thanks for the advise, interestingly, it worked after I went to the webpage with "www" and then did "edit with Frontpage".

I don't know why it did not work without "www".

Hey,

It's probably because DA builds the VirtualHosts as "ServerName www.domain.com" and FP uses that name when it enables (extends) a site.

If you look at /etc/local/frontpage you'll see the .cnf files for the extended sites.

They look like this: www.domain.com:80.cnf

Just a guess...
