Hello, forum. Would appreciate your knowledge on getting close to a resolution with this.

I was receiving a series of messages that could not be delivered to the "administrator" account (not "admin"), and seeing errors all throughout the log. I've removed a user named "administrator" (not "admin") from /etc/aliases, which was as an alias for root.

I stopped receiving those messages. But now I have several consecutive entries saying:

Code:
2021-06-24 18:38:39 1lvPCS-00018v-Tx Unfrozen by errmsg timer

all with different message IDs.

When I try to view the message in the queue, by doing

Code:
mailq | head -n 2

4d  2.3K 1lvPCS-00018v-Tx <>
          root@hostname

exim -v 1lvPCS-00018v-Tx

LOG: MAIN
  cwd=/root 3 args: exim -v 1lvPCS-00018v-Tx

I get no more information, and I have to CTRL+C out of it.

I've looked into several threads that could be related, including this and this , but the problem doesn't appear to be the same.

How can I know more about these messages that supposedly would be for an "administrator" account?

Just to clear it up: I might have had a user named "administrator" in this machine, if it makes any difference.

Best regards, any help appreciated.

Only links read there but don't know if you added administrator / username mailaccount yourself.
