frozen messages

When a message is frozen, it won't be delivered until it is no longer frozen (thawed).
Messages are normally only frozen if you freeze it in the mail queue administration.

And when the message get thawed.? Actually i am not getting the meaning of these words, frozen and thawed.

When you select a message and freeze it, it will not be delivered to its destination.
When you select a frozen message and click Thaw, it will no longer be frozen and it will be delivered to its destination.

does thaw and retry are the same.
