Hello,

I've recently created a new server however FTP access does not work for the 'admin' user.

When I look at 'User Level' -> 'FTP Accounts', it shows the 'admin' account with the root of '/home/admin' but there's no option to select it or change the password, etc.

Cause its not a virtual account its a system account you change the password of the directadmin account "admin" to change its passwd. If the password isnt working you need to verify the line is in /etc/proftpd.passwd and verify that line is listed in /etc/proftpd.conf as AuthUserFile /etc/proftpd.passwd

Note that ftp is not a secure protocol and you may not want to use it with the admin user account.
