ftp and e-mailusers easier

Hello,

I have 2 suggestions for the directadmin controlpanel.

1. It is much easier if I make an ftp and e-mailuser in 1 box, now i must create e-mailusers and ftp users seperate.

Is it possible to make an option in the future so that ftp users and e-mail users can create at the same time so i dont have create first an e-mailuser and then an ftpuser?

2. Can you make an option so that e-mail/ftp users that i create can change there own password?

Are there more directadmin members that want to have these options in the future possible?

E-mail and FTP are functionally very different and I would not want it on the same screen. Having said that you must have your reasons for this so you might want to look at the DirectAdmin API to achieve your objective. Create your own screen just the way you like it and then call the API to create the email address and the FTP account.

There is a URL for the user to reset his own email password...

[url]http://www.example.com:2222/CMD_CHANGE_EMAIL_PASSWORD[/url]

You do not need to log in to use this option...

As far as I know there is no possibility for resetting FTP passwords without logging in or using the API.

Thanks for your reply, The password change link for e-mailusers is nice, mayby it is possible for DA to make this to for ftpusers.
