FTP Backup Issue

I have an issue with external backups.

When I try to connect using the ftp command in SSH, the credentials work, however, within DA I am presented with:

ncftpls: cannot open <ext server>: username and/or password was not accepted for login.

This is bugging me.

Same here. Any idea what's wrong ??

Have either of you checked the logs on your backup server? If it's linux, you might find an error in /var/log/messages.
