FTP directory

Hi, I have 2 discs, and I want to add a user in the main domain to have FTP access to a folder located in /home2 (main domain is located in /home)

I already checked /home2/xxx has the correct group and most important correct permissions; yet I'm unable to configure the dir5ectory in proftpd to connect to that directory.

I was also wondering if there's any way to use symbolic links in user's directory? as to allow some things to be in a partition and other in another.
