Hi,

For Admin Backup/transfer I can choose between FTP and Secure FTP. I need SFTP so perfect.

Why is it not possible at System Backup? I can only choose for FTP or SCP.

Is there a reason for it?

SCP is a utility to copy files using SFTP (FTP over an SSH connection). So it's essentially the same thing.

I know this is an old thread, but the issue still persists and has bothered me for a long time.

Here you can choose between ftp and ftps: 2222/admin/backups/scheduled
Here you can choose between ftp and scp: 2222/admin/system-backup/remote
Please add a ftps option.

I only use an ftp server for backup. Because I can not choose for ftps in 2222/admin/system-backup/remote, all my backups must be in insecure ftp!
That is because when I configure my local FTP server for ftps, it won't accept ftp and vice versa.

same case, but my browser still have string with hash - so I used this link to log-in without auth.
