FTP help with dreamweaver

Hey everyone I need some help... I have cleardev.com webhosting. I am using macromedia dreamweaver mx 2004 site builder.. How do upload my built site to my domain using ftp?? This is the first time I am using FTP thanks
 
I looked at that that is why I came here. For some reason it wont connect. Can anyone give me a run down on what I put in the text forms??
ie.
FTP Host
Host Directory
 
You want to upload with dreamweaver?

FTP host = yourdomain.com
location = domains/yourdomain.com/public_html
user = your username
pass = your password

Ok i uploaded everything now my site wont show up go to xkustoms.com and check it out. I dont think they transfered my domain name from my last web hosting..
 
Go to: ftp://xkustoms.com and click on the left top of the browser on login as. type your username and password and click on OK.

your are now logged in the ftp account.
You see now two directorys go to domains/xkustoms.com/public_html.
This is the place where you must upload your files.
(you can drag your files from your local pc to this window)
If the files don't here but somewhere else, fix this.

Note: your startpage most called index... (html, htm, php)

please contact your hostingprovider for more info!

that didnt work it says I dont have access i think they didnt transfer my domain name

As of 20:35 14/03/05 GMT

xkustoms.com. NS IN 86400 a.ns.interland.net.

xkustoms.com. NS IN 86400 b.ns.interland.net.

xkustoms.com. NS IN 86400 c.ns.interland.net.

Is this your old host or your new one?

There certainly does not seem to be Direct Admin running on the current holding page.

If it's your old host you need to get them to change the DNS to those of your new host

I am following on this thread ..

what is the Host Directory ?

I have FTP Type : which I have used the ft number as my domain isnt up yet

then it asks for Host Directory .. and I have tried several options and none are connecting

anyone ????
 
oh forget the above .. I have worked it out .. seconds after posting

dont you hate it when you do that !!!
