One of my clients decided unwisely to give his password to a freind. THe freind in return deleated all his files. Thank god for backups. I logged in via root on ssh and did a passwd command for that user. Not thinking about doing it in DA. Now the password for DA is the new password as well as the ssh password. But the proftpd password is still the old one. I have firewaleld that user against further attacks from his freind but wouldl ike to know what I need to do to change the ftp user password.
Do I just redo it in DA and it will change it or is there soemthing else since it is out of sync.
