General set-up instructions available?

I have read the site-helper.com site thoroughly. But it hardly explains anything about how to set up Directadmin. On the other hand this forum is quite in-depth about specific tasks or problems. I was wondering if there is some middle way soemwhere that I am missing.

I just want to set up a pretty basic webhosting environments (vhost with apache/nginx, phpmyadmin, own subdomain till DNS gets through) which I imagined would be a piece of cake with DirectAdmin. I have set up multiple linux boxes to do this and would like to leverage DirectAdmin to expedite this process. This is the whole point of DA right?

So where is the operators' manual? ;-)

@SeLLeRoNe: Like I said i read through that thoroughly. It is more aimed at end users of a hosting environment (Which i think are the 'users' in DA?

@Imtek: Thanks you but I managed to install DA just fine. The general site just has a lot of quite specific technical issues /howto's. No overview or glossary as far as I can find.

What I am looking of more of a general overview?
What is a user, a domain, a reseller?
If I create one those, what happens automatically by DA, what do I have to do myself afterwards?
How do these three interact?
