Generate PTR-records for all (sub-)domains

Hi,

Two PTR-related questions (See also http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=21):

- Do I need a PTR-record for every A-record (domain of subdomain) I have?
- Is there a script to generate PTR-records for all domains?

According to Internet RFCs you should only have one PTR record per IP#. If you have more you cannot guarantee which results will be returned and it's unlikely the rDNS will match DNS.

So there's no reason to have such a script.

Note also that rDNS won't resulv on your server unless your upstream IP provider has delegated authority to you.
