I am unable to free up an IP in DA.
It appears to be allocated to a user that is no longer in the system.
From the admin level IP Management panel the IP shows as being assigned to the reseller "admin" and user "someusername". It also shows as "owned".
I cannot assign the IP to another reseller, or free it up.
The problem is that the user "someusername" was previously deleted from the system via DA along with their domains.
The deleted user "someusername" had previously been allocated a dedictated IP.
Now I can't free up the IP, because DA says it is still allocated to "someusername" but I already know that this user has been deleted.
And when I create a new user, I do not have access to this IP either. It's not present in the dropdown list.
Have I omitted something important when I deleted the original user using the IP?
