Howdy all,

I've been scouting around for hours now, trying to understand the various bits of advice given to other people with the same issue and have been unable to follow it. I've got the SSL working to the point its working, but not being trusted in Firefox (despite IE completely ignoring it).

I've got two files:

gd_intermedia_bundle.crt
www.domain.co.uk.crt

Within the gd_intermedia_bundle certificate it contains 3 certificates - not sure which one is which

Within the www.domain.co.uk.crt it contains a single certificate

I have no idea which is CA cert or anything - someone please give me a simple step by step guide in implimenting this into securing my billing system on DA.

Thanks in advanced guys,
Ryan

Hmm...I think I've seen some godaddy ssl threads here having problems.

BTW, I purchased a RapidSSL from Namecheap and it was setup in 2 minutes...only a paragraph of text to paste! Trusted in all browsers without installing any CA certificates.

I've bought a SSL cert from Namecheap and now just encounter 'Invalid Certificate' error when trying to install it.. god my luck just gets worse!

Any ideas/thoughts?

I have noticed if I copy and paste from email I always get an invalid cert. I have gotten in to the habit of opening the cert in notepad select all Copy then paste in DA window, then at the end certificate tag hitting delete to take care of any windows hidden characters.

I suppose I could write some How-Tos; how to install Namecheap Certificates, GoDaddy Certificates, etc.

So why don't I? Because then I wouldn't sell any of our Certificates. I could easily sell Certificates as inexpensively as either of the above, but I don't, because support takes time and time costs money.

:D

Or you could play a little marketing game(after all this IS the Internet) and offer the howtos at such a price that your certificates with support would be a better value ;)

But the real bottom line is that he who dies with the most toys wins:D.

Anyway you may eventually get tired of working and want to retire. So money is nice.

We actually write rather comprehensive How-Tos for everything we do, so new hires can come up to speed quickly.

But the key is: for everything we do.
