It seems that my server IP is being blocked by Google for the following reason that I got from Exim mainlog.

SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: host alt1.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com [74.125.xxx.xx]: 421-4.7.0 [96.xx.xxx.xx 15] Our system has detected an unusual rate of\n421-4.7.0 unsolicited mail originating from your IP address. To protect our\n421-4.7.0 users from spam, mail sent from your IP address has been temporarily\n421-4.7.0 rate limited. How do I fix this issue?

First thing you do, is when you quote an error message, please convert all those '\n' pairs to new lines, to make it easier for us to read:
Code:
SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: host alt1.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com [74.125.xxx.xx]: 421-4.7.0 [96.xx.xxx.xx 15] Our system has detected an unusual rate of

Second thing to do is to visit the link they give you.

Are you a bulk sender? Are you intentionally sending them large amounts of email you know about? If so, then you must follow their guidelines. It doesn't matter if it's spam or not, you must still follow their rules.

If you're not intentionally sending them bulk email then you need to study your logs to find out why lots of email is being sent by your server to google's mailservers.

I see from your post subject that you believe it's all email that's being forwarded. If that's true then addresses on your servers are receiving huge amounts of email, possibly spam you can figure out how to block.

Sorry about the code pasting. Was actually grabbing the entire line from Exim logs.

We managed to resolve the issue but installing Spam Assassin and switching the email forwarders receiving most of spam to email accounts instead. The email forwarders were to root cause since everything is forwarded, including spam.

I'm glad you've gotten it figured out. I guess I just presume everyone is using SpamAssassin by now :).

I also suggest using SpamBlocker features in DirectAdmin, if you're not already. Some are already installed in the default exim.conf file, more will be in the new exim.conf SpamBlocker 4.3 file currently being tested by DirectAdmin (I wrote both). You may need to make configuraiton changes in CustomBuild 2 to make the features work.
