Got new server with CentOS8 Stream - thougths?

Hi,

got delivered my new server. But instead of CentOS8 Linux, i got it delivered with CentOS8 Stream.
Would you recommend, that i tell them to reinstall it with CentOS8 Linux, that i can switch at the end of the year to Cloudlinux or Alamlinux?

Or do you think that CentOS8 Stream should be also fine and stable on a production server?

Short anwser: NO

long answer: no since CentOS Stream is an development branch of redhead. Meaning it is likely it will contain early releases of redhead/software with all the issue that come with it.
