hello about ftp transfer new to this...

hello i just bought direct admin, cause i think its very nice....

normalley i uset to do the install on my linux machine, apt-get install apache2 php5 phpmyadmin mysql-server proftpd

after that server working ofcurse like it does with direct admin but see im new to this so there fore,

i normalley run chown blabla:blabla -Rf /var/www that is so i can use proftpd to transfer my website but now i tryed following guides and im not sure how to do it cause its confusing ....


i hope soime undestand what i mean and give a nice answer thanks on behave greetings from denmark -.--

When you install directadmin it should install all this for you. If not you need to look under the custombuild section of this forum to setup and install that.
