Help CGI's Stooped Working Server Wide

OK, this is pretty traggic as now every one of my sites on the server will not work with cgi's. I have ssi's and such so a lot of sites are serving error psges.

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

My guess is that something has happened with a DirectAdmin update (I didn't update it). Somethinh has changed server wide.

should show the cgi as an include

instead shows [an error occurred while processing this directive]

Premature end of script headers

Something has changed. Can someone plese help or I will have to abandon this server.

PS I have another server with DirectAdmin with a different host and we had this same problem a few months back.

Something updated and a default setting prevented cgis from working.

Smells like the same problem.

Oh, and I didn't change or update anything myself. ICGI's were workimng on 60 domains yesterday but today they all stop working.

I've tried reuploading and chmoding to 755 - doesn't help.

Have you tried tailing apache error log in realtime while trying to access your script?

The host just got it working - apparently permissions were changed from home onwards.

Now all are working again.

I have no clue how they got changed???
