help with "send form data" to a email address

Hello, I want to create a form page with microsoft front page version 2000, my account is already in the "enable" stage for front page extentions...but when I wantto publish the form page and its contents to go to the email address on the web page, it does not work and I get a error, that we have to configure the server? Can anyone help me out with this problem? ASAP ???
