Since installing DirectAdmin my memory usage has been consistently pegged over 90% The below is a 12hr snap shot of my usage.

Now here is the top output

As you can see by the above I have 1gb of ram and 966mb is being used and that is very consistent there is no traffic on the site its a Wordpress site that gets no traffic cause I have not put the link out any where.

Again I am not server guy. I read and learn stuff from there but I don't seem to be finding a solution much to assist me in this. As I said there is no traffic to the site you can see that in the one graph.

Now with Plesk I was sitting around 60% usage pretty much all the time. I just am not sure what is causing this. I don't see anything it TOP looking to use alot of memory.

Plesk had other issues that I didn't want to deal with but if I must go back to it I can but that will require backing up the site again.

Hello,

Check this http://www.linuxatemyram.com/

You might want to install munin software to monitor your server status with more details. With it you will be able to see what service how much RAM takes. Feel free to PM me or other guys here if you need somebody to do it for you.

Don't worry, this is normal. It's called "cache" :)

What you should be looking at in "top" is the "load average". If it is below 1.00, you are totally fine.
