Back in may my vps box was ddosed,my host and data center was very good,filtered the attack within 20 minutes,yet by then DA had already crashed,so i restarted DA,all services was down so restarted them.
Now from what i can make out denyhost dont work no more,there is a ip stuck in there from the day of the attack,before in my host.deny logs the ip got denied after so meny attempts,then the deny file cleared itself within a certain time,now nothing gets denied and i see alot more attempts on the server,blacklist is set to 5,yet iv tried myself and it dont blacklist me,no matter what ip i use,is there a command to restart hostdeny,or how would i correct this problem.
