Thank you!
HostBill Team.

I'm confused a bit about your pricing options. Do you mean it's $12.95 per month with unlimited clients? Are there annual or forever options?

Note that you should probably consider the Logicboxes platform for Domain names; we and many others use it (the biggest user is probably Reseller Club).

Jeff

Hello,

Free if you have 5 customers if you exceed 5 customers there is a free of $12.95/mo

We are thinking about other licensing options. We will update you shortly.

As for ResellerClub module is done and waiting for release with the next version.

To me this looks like a ripoff of WHMCS (wich I use myself), and I think WHMCS should sue HostBill for copyright infringement.

Also HostBill posted a similar advertising post at Webhostingtalk.com some time ago, wich was deleted by the forum admin the same day.

Edit: It seems it was not deleted from webhostingtalk.com after all. Here is the thread: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=907413

Here is WHMCS-Matt (the owner of WHMCS) response: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showpost.php?p=6516090&postcount=19

Quote from WHMCS-Matt: "I know it's widely accepted that copying is the highest form of flattery, so thank you for that but HostBill, come on, your copying of WHMCS is outright blatent! You appear to have taken a lot of inspiration from WHMCS. Actually, let me rephrase that - copied a lot of layout from WHMCS and practically all of the tables/text within it are identical..."

Here is another response in the same thread from WHMCS-Matt: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showpost.php?p=6516178&postcount=24

Even so like we need another billing program out there? Come on think of something more original that is actually needed. Im sure people out there have some ideas of a software they would rather have.

>We are not related to any billing software.

we have templates for client area similar to whmcs to help with quick migration from whmcs. That's all. we think that there is a lot of to do in this market to automate account provision, maintenance etc. We are doing our job hard. and our competition don't create right product for clients.

Sure please let us know what you would you like to have in HostBill to automate your daily work. You can email us, open new thread at forums.

Our Competition write about us because new great software show up. 3 php developers with big knowledge of hosting (we are all system administrators) are creating right tool for other sys admins. We are writting new modules and mods to automate tasks. But if you feel that something should be done with high priority please email us or go to our fourm.

For me the most important feature is the ability to send statements and/or bills on a per account basis.

So for each account I can set to either bill each invoice (and on any future date or continuing future date), or to not send or bill CCs for invoices but still allow creation of invoices and bill statements only on either single or continuing dates.

If you don't understand please ask.

Jeff

The chaps at HostBill have been really helpful and considered several feature requests.

It's also worth pointing out that if you've no billing app or an ancient one (like we did on a free project I support) HostBill app allows you to import details and setup client accounts directly from a DirectAdmin server.

Gets my vote

But no other payment options other than monthly? We do not need another monthly payment.

You can add funds to our account and it will save you from having to pay each month. We don't provide owned license at the time.

hostbill far superior

We have used both whmcs and hostbill, and I can say that hostbill is a far more superior product than whmcs in my opinion for our hosting company needs, also the order panel for hostbill is much more appealing to me.

You should check your own website then.
There are 2 kinds of owned licenses on there, $159 and $249 (unbranded).

@HostBill,

You never responded to my post of December 16, 2009. I can't consider your product if you don't answer questions.

And now another question:

Is your Reseller Club module adjustable so you can use it for subresellers or for other companies using the same Logicboxes interface used by Reseller Club?

Jeff

@jlasman I think Hostbill isn't watching this post anymore. you should ask those questions at their website.
