How can I change IP

hi! I hope i'm posting in the right place

I want to make in my website a download page, but when somenone tries to download something there appears that little window with the options open... save as... ok

and there also appears a line:

from: and here is my IP number

It is a number.
Can it be changed to www.mydomain.com?

And how? Can anyone help.? please? hope you understand what I mean

The from is going to be whatever the link says. Sounds like basic html to me.

But we cannot possibly know without seeing the site and the download link.
