how can i use ftp-managers?

Hello everyone!

I m trying to find out how can I log in ftp by other ftp-managers like FlashFXP or CuteFTP!

The informations that the welcome email given is that:


FTP accounts: 1
Anonymous FTP: OFF
FTP Server: ftp.myhomepage.com
Login: skull
Password: * irretrievable *

and the cp's url is that http.myhomepage.com:2222 .

Right?

How can I log in ftp by using FlashFXP?

The FlashFXP's log in form looks like:

Server or Url: XXXX Port: XXXX
User Name: XXXX
Password: XXXX

What should I write in the XXXX fields?

Server or Url: ftp.myhomepage.com Port: 21
User Name: skull
Password: YOURPASSHERE

The only thing you need is the hostname, login and password. Port is always 21 and never changes unless your hosting provider tells you otherwise.

If your ftp.myhomepage.com does not work you can also use the ip address listed in the welcome letter that was given to you to connect.
