How can we disable the .html extensions for our website?

Hi, We have our website which is working normally, but the link has the extension of the file (Example : index.html), It is looking very unprofessional on our part,

How can we remove that?

Are you an admin with a Directadmin license?
Because the questions looks like a question for customer of a hosting company using DA, which this forum is not intended for.

As for your question, look for extensions or settings to create "friendly url's" because that's what you probably are looking for.
