How Do I Add Subdomains?

I searched the forums..didn't come up with anything particularly useful, and I can't see the option in the DA Control Panel to add subs..

EDIT: Oh good God. I must be blind. I just seen the option now...

Okay, another issue.

I created a subdomain, x.mydomain.com. Now I'm going to try and install some stuff into it, but I can't FTP into it. I can FTP fine into ftp.mydomain.com just fine, when I use the same login credentials and change the address to x.mydomain.com, it's not working. :S

Oh, and one last thing, I have forums.mydomain.com, I switched the forums to mydomain.com instead, how can I make forums.mydomain.com point to mydomain.com?

To ftp into a subdomain you first ftp into the main domain, then navigate to the public_html/subdomainname/ folder.

Yeah, I got that sorted out.

In the main directory for that subdomain, create a redirect to the domain you want to point to. You can do that with a php file or an .htaccess file.
