How do I download my backups to my pc?

Today I have created some backups, and I do not know how to download them to my pc, I'm going to travel and I want to make some updates to my pages while I'm there, and (I wont have internet there) upload them when I'm back home...

The backups are in the form of tarballs, which most PC-based zip/unzip programs can managing, converting them back into directories with contents. If the contents are additional tarballs, simply keep going down through them, using the same program to open them.

Since making a proper tarball could be complex, I'd recommend using ftp to get them back oonto your account later, once you're back.

Plese in the future try to use a better category for your posts; I've moved this one; it's a user issue.

Hey, thanks for your answer, what I wanted to know was how to download the tarball to my pc, and I have done it yet, 10 minutes ago, just pressing the document and it downloads to my pc ^^

And sorry for posting it in the wrong category... I'm new and don't speak a good english, so it's hard to do it better ^^.. in forums I always post on General categories since it's always the most open to almost every subject..
