how do i install mysql 5

Hello im running an intel celeron processor on linux redhat enterprise and ive been getting this error when i try and access msql Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client
i figured that upgrateing msql would help but i cant seem to find how to do this any help would be apperciated

msql? Do you mean mssql or mysql?
Where are you getting this message from? What program...

MySQL and mssql are different programs the later of which I don't even know if they have distributions for operating systems besides windows...

You want to look in /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/ for mysql.sh

that wil upgrade you to the latest mysql supported by DA.
