I have a domain and i am trying to set it up using direct admin, but i cant get it to work, i have uploaded my files to public_html but what must i do from here to get it launched (another weird thing is that is says that i havent used any memory???)

Are you a Directadmin license holder? If not, you're in the wrong place, then try a computer forum or something like webhostingtalk.com or something like that.
This forum is only intended for DA licenses holders, so admins, not for end customers. Hosting company's are responsible for customer support.
Just to be sure. I presume you added the domain as user in your domain setup?
If yes, normally a default index.htm(l) is created in the public_html folder. Just remove that first, after that upload your website files.
