How do I upgrade CentOS without breaking DA?

My current server is running CentOS 5.7 with DA 1.39 - I plan on upgrading DA to the newest 1.40 version, but how do I upgrade CentOS to the new 6.2 without breaking DA?

You'd be better off by configuring a new server with CentOS 6 rather than upgrading from 5. I've done it once, and man, I've never been so glad that my backup strategy worked.

Ok, thanks for the advice. I think I'll do that instead.

Do you like/recommend 6.2 any better or worse than 5.7 ?

I still prefer 5 though because it is somewhat more compatible with DA if you ask me. I'd stick with 5 for another month or 2 at least..

Actually CentOS 6.2 is fully compatible with DA.
