How is bandwidth calculated procedure.

I have looked at users bandwidth usage and a few of them look remarkebly low, one guy is using 300meg of hd and has used 0.04 gig of bandwidth, where is the bandwidth to upload that data?

I would like to run some tests to see if my bandwidth is been measured right can someone lead me to how it works, I suspect when 'action=reset&value=all' is in the task queue it tallies bandwidth, but would like to know what files it uses to take readings from.

'action=tally&value=all' actually

Bandwidth is collected from the log files of the services which DirectAdmin tallies for. All except email I think. It is possible that the log file format got changed and is no longer compatible with DirectAdmin's tally program, such as proftpd's. And as far as I know DirectAdmin just ignores those errors and continues.

Might be a nice feature to have it send a message or something of untalliable logs.

If it is tally then it is almost certianly not functioning correctly as I had ran that half a dozen times during the period I was testing.

I will test more then post back here and email John with my findings.
