How long is a reboot issued through DirectAdmin supposed to take?

My server specs:

CPU: Celeron D 2.66 Ghz
RAM: 512 MB
HD: 80 GB IDE. Swap: 2 GB
OS: CentOS 4.4
Control Panel: DirectAdmin newest version

It has already taken over 13 minutes and the server is still not up or at least not able to serve any pages or anything.

What should I do? Wait longer? How long?

It depends on your server configuration, but 13 mins is too much. If you have APC - use it to reboot the server 2nd time.

It has been down over 40 minutes now.. I sent an e-mail to the provider now though.

I can now login as root via SSH though, can I manually start DirectAdmin and thus the server or what should I do now? What command can I use to start DirectAdmin?

If you're on RedHat based OS:
Code:
service directadmin start

Well that didn't solve the problem. :( It seems many if not all of the usual processes / services are running though...

Let me fix your problem. Contact me on Skype, ICQ or MSN.
