Hi ,
I am recently migrate to DA and I'm kinda noob out here ;) so hope u understand me.
I want to install several php-modules say something like :
php-ming
php-gd
etc...
since I am using DA I understood that I can't just type :
apt-get install php5-gd

what should I do exactly?
ps: I don't about my DA version whether it is build or custome! , actually I don't have any idea about these two phrases though :D please if its possible give me some hints about these also.

regards.

Hi Netseeker,

It is not recommended to use apt-get to install packages that you want to work in with DirectAdmin.

If you want to install custom php modules, you should use custombuild. There's a heap of discussions on this forum about how to do custombuild.

If you need help with it - come back into this thread and let me know.
