Hi all. I have not been able to figure this out and it sure seems that it should be a simple thing to do. Given a DA server (version 1.38.00) with two IPs, one for the server license and one to be shared with all reseller accounts - how do I assign the desired IP to be shared by all resellers? Please guide me through this quandry :o

Thanks in advance,
Dan

Thanks again

Thank you again zEitEr. I guess I have come to that realization on my own unfortunately. I suppose I will have to condense all of my users down to a single reseller (not that big of a deal in my case.) That way all of my domains will resolve to the same IP (the one that is used in failover in my cluster.) That is what I will attempt now.

Appreciate your input,
Dan

Hello,

This is a common feature request which will be implemented at some point.

For now, what you can do is add the IP to one Reseller normally at first (set it to shared, etc).
Once setup, edit the:
Code:
/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/[b]reseller[/b]/ip.list
for each other Reseller whom you wish to give the IP. You can add it to multiple Resellers, but keep in mind, DA will still think it belongs to the first Reseller that got it, so it's usually best to make "admin" that first Reseller. (eg: for cases such as accessing the IP directly, http://1.2.3.4, etc..)
