how to add custom function in php?

hello...

i want to add global function to php.

i mean, like all users can use the function "stristr" or "str_replace", i want to add some custom function, and all the server will can use this function.

I have done this a long time ago. Search for how to write custom modules for php. i hope you are good in C language. Once build you need to then recompile php with that module.

Sorry I cant be of much help, but definitely what you are asking for is possible.
