In the early days (if I'm not mistaken) we only had pop and mail A records. Since a while we also got smtp A records.

But often systems user imap and also automatically try to use imap.domain.com to configure instead of mail.domain.com.

How can we add imap A records on domains where no imap A records is existing yet, serverwide?
If there is not .conf option, then I'm looking for some custom command or solution.

I missed that one when searching the docs.
Pity the imap record is not there by default like the smtp record.

Thank you @Remco00!

I put a request in too because imho it should be in there by default like other panels have too, it's part of mail now just like smtp is.

Yes you are correct. I can add the value, but it must also be done when new accounts are created.
So maybe by custom template or some post.sh script.
