how to change default page

Just add .html as a valid php extension so you can process php stuff in it.
 
Gotta be a better way, scsi: if you do that all html files will be scanned by php before being served. That adds a lot of overhead.

Better to use a post create script to move a php file into place.

Looks like from the guide that the reseller default directory is a skel type dir. So you can just put an index.php in there and I bet it should work.
