How to config DNS ?

Hi everyone,

I installed DA to box A, and i like to have another DNS for those websites in box A so i decided to install centos in box B.

i ran 'yum install named' but not sure where the named.conf file locate at. Can anyone help me please..thanks

You wrote that you've run yum install named but my copies of Centos don't have a package with that named. So be sure you've really installed bind.

Then depending on whether or not you've also installed bind-chroot, you should have either a file or a link at [/i]/etc/named.conf[/i].

You might want to look into master2slave DNS Replicator in these forums to see if you can use it to do your slaving for you. I had it written and donated to the community and it works well for me and for others.
