I clicked into RoundCube, and found four undelivered mail returned to sender. (I tried using gMail to connect, failed).

I tried sending mails to my personal gmail-ids, those also failed.

I saw it was written mylogin-id@localhost.

I thought though it is part of DA, some configuration may be needed, but not sure.

Some videos showed using Linux coding for configuration.

Can someone clear the air?
Thanks

You dont have to setup anything in RoundCube, you create an email account in Directadmin and after that you are able to use that in RoundCube.

You have to be a bit more specific. Is that the admin account? And is it like really user@localhost or [email protected] and is that your main email system account (so the email account you automatically get when an account is created)?

However, indeed normally nothing needs to be configured in Roundcube, so if we know a bit better what is going on or how exactly it's delivered, we might be able to find the cause.

This is the message I got and am using.

It seems likeley that you ar ea user, not an Admin.
Or do you also have login details for ROOT SSH etc?

Besides that, LOCALhost already says it "LOCAL" that means not for the wide open internet.
You need to add a domain let's say "Prickly.com" to your server *This domain has to be registered and the nameservers have to be set correctly.
And than you can make an email address

[email protected]

And mail from that.

You are not an admin.
It's best you contact your host for support. This forum is not intended for hosting customers, only for DA licenses holders, so admins and resellers.
