I feel certain this has already been discussed, but I searched and searched but couldn't find anything, so here goes:
What if I want to have a plan that offers 1 domain included in the price, and have additional domains at some cost, say $1/extra/domain.
I'm playing with WHMCS as my billing system, and it has no problem using "configurable options" and billing the user for extra resources such as IP's or domains.
What I don't see is how this would work in real life...
In DA I could limit the number of domains, say to 1. But if the user paid to have an extra domain on their account, then I would have to change the plan, but this would change the plan for all users. Obviously I don't want to do this.
If I set unlimited (or a very high number) of domains in the DA plan, what's to stop a user from adding domains in DA and bypassing the billing system completely?
How would WHMCS know that the user added a resource?
How would DA know a resource was added in WHMCS?
Hopefully a WHMCS/DA guru here will shed some light on this... I can't get my head around it!
