autoupdate=0

in /usr/local/directadmin/conf/options.conf
da_autoupdate=no

However, it stills updated automatically by itself (on 14 Nov 2022 morning) -

For some legacy servers, how to disable DirectAdmin auto update ?

Thank you very much.

This auto update message is normal.
When you install a new version of DirectAdmin and that version gets a hotfix, it will be automaticly be installed.
This behaviour cannot be disabled.

Sorry, I did not see it updates to a new version instead of a hotfix.
So then I have no idea.
But I would asume it is because you run an old version of DirectAdmin. (And CustomBuilds being reworked and thus not working on older versions.)
