How to easily transfer accounts from DA to DA server ?

Hi,

Isn't there any tool like cPanel Transfer Tool which safely copies all the accounts from one server to another ?
I have to transfer accounts from my existing DA server to a new DA server.

How do I go about it ? I want to keep it as simple and easy as possible.

Please guide.

Several threads on this about this, but let me help you

Make an reseller backup of your user, copy it to your user_backups directory on your new server.
Go to your new server and find your backup and restore (dont forget to use the new IP address when restoring)
I assume here that you use your own NS and not from your provider, if not dont forget to alter the new records there

If you use encryption for your backups don't forget to use the same password when restoring

Thank you for getting back so quickly. :)

I'm sorry to say but I don't use DA Backup and I have set JetBackup which stores all the backups remotely.

How do I go in this case ?

Okay, I have started taking backup into a folder on the source server.
What do I have to do to get those backups on the remote server ? I.e I do rsync and transfer the files or something else ?

Transfer backup into new server with same path (/home/admin/admin_backups)
or any folder and later just move backup into /home/admin/admin_backups
then restore via Admin Backup
 
you can use ftp as admin to see the user_backups directory and uplod it there
or you can backup direct to the new server
with the ftp credentials of the new server
my guide is only valid for backups made with DA self others I cant help
 
What about changing the reseller from one DA server to a second DA server?

e.g. DA1/ResellerOne/DomainOne backup to DA2/ResellerTwo/DomainOne.

Also, if you user the ResellerOne/DomainOne User Backup to create a backup and try to restore into a different named ResellerTwo/DomainOne account, the backup still wants the same ResellerOne account.

So my question is two fold: If you want to transfer the DA1 DomainOne User Backup into something different on the second DA2 server, what do you have to do?
