How to Empty Inbox for Default Email

I set the default email account ([email protected]) as catch-all email in the past. Having received so many email spams, I set the catch-all to bounce all unrouted emails.

Today I login to see I have about 100 MB space used for this default email account. Since I no longer use this default email account, all messages there must be spam and I just want to delete them without downloading them to my Outlook. Is there a simple way to do that?

BTW, I have set the catch-all to ignore and delete all emails sent to this default email account. Hope this setting will not leave any message in the inbox for this unused emaill.

Delete the mailbox file at /var/spool/mail/username and then recreate it with touch and set the new file to the same ownership and attributes.
