how to empty records?

I installed a new php wordpress weblog, but when i run installation it tells me that my database records have to be emptied.
How can I do that?
I have uses the database before, but the records may be deleted, the question is only how as I have no knowledge about this.

You can do it through phpMyAdmin by dropping all tables.
