how to find customers based on email via ssh/grep? and mysterious var filled to max..

1) how can I search for the customer email associated with an account and be given the customer's domain? I need this because people have changed their domain and cancelled their payments so I can't find their accounts except by searching for their email. I assume it's done by using grep, any help?


2) my var directory is suddenly at just 15% capacity, it was at 100%, 99%, 95%... I made no changes, any ideas?

1 - grep -R "EMAILADDRESS" /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/*/user.conf

With this you can find the username, with username you can do search in da panel.

Regarding problem 2, dont know, should be many things.

Your /var directory includes lots of variable stuff, logs, etc. So it can change.
