How to set up Eudora?

Hi,
Does anyone know how to best set up Eudora, please? I've tried both POP and IMAP server configuration but neither is ideal. With POP, I can't delete the messages from the server. With IMAP, ... I can't do anything as the following path doesn't work: /home/adminuser/imap/domain.com

I'd be grateful for suggestions.

most pop clients can be run in "leave mail on server" mode.

under the tools/options menu, there
maybe a way to configure your incoming
mail settings, which allows you not to
specify that mail be left on the server ?

Actually that's how I have set it up for now but I am not happy with that. ..As I said, the messages don't get deleted from the server (even if this option is checked in the POP client).
I would prefer to configure my Eudora for IMAP ..... but I am looking for someone to help me with that!
