How to setup new accounts help needed

Hi
I am new to DirectAdmin and trialling the software currently I am trying to get my head around the Reseller / User Accounts and how best to create new accounts on the system.

I know in cPanel I create hosting plans login and create a new account and assgin it a hosting plan from what i can see in DirectAdmin you need to create a reseller account and hosting plan before creating a user account.

I am able to get some assistance / Guide to how to start using DirectAdmin to create accounts to host websites.

Hi Matthew

You can create user accounts from your "admin" DirectAdmin account which is generated by the installation script.
It acts as a reseller account with administrative priviledges. You may want to create a reseller for added security.

You need to create a user package from whichever reseller you wish to create a new account on (including admin).

Typically you may want something like:
Root (for SSH only, or disabled) > Admin (for SSH/UI admin pages) > Reseller (For seperating users) > User

To create a reseller account you will also need to create it's own reseller package.
